@David Pere Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feed back. And with out a doubt, that is exactly what I have been doing. So far I have read a few good books and just started reading the book from Brandon Turner and Joshua Dorkin ( How To Invest In Real Estate ) and if there are any other books or any other info you think I should be paying attention to. I am all ears. Thank you again

@Adam Lang Thank you for reaching out, I really appreciate your feedback I will definitely do just that. If this where your situation what would be the max interest rate You would consider. I have never took out equity from my house. I was thinking high would be 6 and of course I will look for the best and lowest I can get. Thank you again.

What would be the best way to go about finding a mentor ?

So As I said in my description I am a professional over the road truck driver who is highly interested in becoming a Investor into real estate. This point I think I’ve made up my mind that without a doubt I want to build up a portfolio in the rental part of Real estate and with an occasional flip. With that said I’ve been listening to the podcast listening to the audio books. I also have a home currently owe roughly $60,000 in about $140,000 in equity I was thinking that would be a great way for me to get started and with that said really like to find a mentor

Good afternoon to all, so I currently have about $140,000 in equity from the home I currently own and was wondering should I capitalize on that equity to get started. And if so, being a Florida resident what banks or company should I look into to retrieve the equity. I have so much more questions but I will start with these two questions. Thank you ahead of time for the response.
