Hi Charles,

Thanks for reaching out!

I'll be London next week just to get to know UK (though I doubt I can accomplish that in just a week), but its probably a big step forward starting from zero. :)

Happy Investing!

Jason

Hi Engelo,

Thanks for the welcome :D Great to see that we share some ties for both Sydney and Hong Kong :D

Based on some high-level observations why I think I'm more interested into the UK than US, but no way doubting that there are great opportunities in the US. Some items like financing as a non-resident, setting up a company as a foreign director / shareholder seems more friendly in the UK than the US. And I got my fingers crossed but I think there is some slight advantage of HKD buying into the GBP (for now at least), than the USD ^^

I'm a newbie REI, hope to contribute to BP and learn from everyone.

Hello everyone,

My name is Jason. Thought I'll add on to this thread rather than create a new one - just wanted to say a hello. HELLO ALL!

I'm from Hong Kong, just joined BP not too long ago, hope to add value to the BP community.

I lived in Sydney Australia for 10 years, Shanghai for 2 years, Beijing for a year and the rest in Hong Kong. Let me know if you have questions in those areas, hope I can help out somewhat if any of you have questions.

I'm a Chartered Financial Analyst, not that it means too much here, but got experience in all other sorts of investing EXCEPT Real Estate.

And I'm currently interested in REI in UK, going to fly to London and explore up North, in 2 weeks time to at least check out the market.
