Hi all!

I’m a US citizen living in Australia and have been itching to start my real estate investing journey. Property in the USA is definitely a more attractive option, and I’m aiming to start with multi family (<$100,000). I’ll have about $20,000USD cash to begin with, and hoping for tips on:

- Financing the property through a bank from a different country.

- Laws in regards to tenancy in the USA (being a sue-happy nation)

- Process involved once I find a property I like. And

- How to manage the property from afar.

I have a few family members in the USA that may be able to help on ground if needed (however not financially).

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to hearing any tips no matter how big or small!

Zack
