Thanks Marci,

I do remember my parents banking with Harris way back in the day. I think the only problem with a bank like that is there's not a branch near me. I think maybe getting my mortgages through a bank like that might make sense but do my day to day banking through a bank like Chase or BOA since there's branches at both ends.

Hello all,

My family is in Illinois and my dad is retired and he's willing to be my property manager along with my two adult brothers. I'm in Washington state and wanting to setup an LLC with myself and my dad on it.

I've talked to two banks here I've dealt with in the past and one said they can't lend in IL as they have no branches there. The other said no problem even though they are a regional bank here too.

Would I be better off setting up a bank account with a national lender even though they won't treat me as an investor and only an account number.

OR should I setup a bank account in IL with a regional bank there and have them do all my paperwork remotely?

In the end I'm hoping I can just give my dad a checkbook and debit card and access the account from here and be able to keep the books in order here.

Thanks for any help provided.

Hi Seth, that club was just recommended to me via a PM too. I went ahead and joined the group and hope to attend Sept's meeting. Are you a member and do you attend? Do you find value in it?

Hello all,

After purchasing my first home in Deer Park last November I'm ready to invest in some rental real estate or possibly some flips down the road.

I'm having a really hard time finding any REIA's or any clubs in Spokane to attend to network with other like minded people.

I'm also looking at possibly buying a foreclosure through Vestus, has anyone used them in Spokane? I've only seen reviews from Seattle-area.

Thanks

Zack
