Hi guys, I am excited to be part of this huge and awesome community that has already been so helpful! I am just starting my real estate education and am on the site to learn as much as I can before I jump in! Obviously I wont learn everything before I need to close on my first deal, but the basics are crucial. I am currently in San Diego and this market would be challenging as a place to start. I am thinking foreclosures in a market out of state in large university towns. I would love to build connections with current investors in San Diego to learn first hand more about this game we are choosing to play to provide housing for people and make some money ourselves!

To all of you, thank you so much. So to follow up- I was able to access the owner on title through finding the parcel number, then calling county assessors office (all of which I should have done prior to reaching out, however this was my first time trying this). So moving forward, I have s name on record, but no phone number associated with that- I'm assuming this would not be public info or is it? And according to another website, one of the owners additional properties is in a marital trust- does this mean for sure that it is owned by heirs, or just possibly one of the owners (two personal owners on file) has passed away?

Hi guys,

I want to find the owner of a property, however cannot find a name on any of the tax documents that the county assessor is providing.

How else can I find this information without having to pay a site like Whitepages or something similar?
