This really does look like a great community and resource. I've set up some keyword alerts, and started to download some past podcast episodes.

Also thinking about getting J Scott's book on flipping (since I've never done a flip before), and upgrading to Pro to get the financial analysis spreadsheets.

Hi all,

I recently stumbled across this website and have been spending hours each day reading lots of great content. This is my first post on BiggerPockets, and I’m looking forward to meeting others and getting involved in the BP community.

I live in the Los Angeles area. I’ve invested in real estate off and on for the past 10+ years. Investments

have included SFR and condo rentals, a mobile home park, and a hotel.

My two new real estate investment areas of focus that I am looking to get involved in are:

• Flipping homes in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.
• Investing for long term buy and hold cash flow…currently fourplexes in the Phoenix, AZ area.
