Hello everyone! My name is Zach and I'm currently a senior in USC's Marshall School of Business. Ever since I was exposed to the stock market in 11th grade, I have been interested in a career in investing. For me, I was hooked when I watched my first position (Apple) turn positive; however I always had one issue with investing in stocks as a profession: I did not feel I was adding any value to the community around me. My eyes were opened a whole new path this past semester when I took a real estate finance and investment class. I saw that by providing a high quality office building or residence to a tenant, you are adding immeasurable value to their lives in the form of a better home, work, and life environment. I plan to be able to start investing in my first residential property within the coming year, and since I'm new I believe BiggerPockets will be a massively valuable resource. I look forward to reading the forum, the blog, and meeting many of you along the way!
