Hi Zachary, I started investing in late 2020 and now have 9 doors across the midwest (Memphis and Cleveland). Not sure what markets you are looking at, but would love to connect and knowledge share if you are interested.

Thats awesome that you only started such a short time ago and have a good amount under your belt. Right now I'm just getting the the edge of the water to get my feet wet so I'm unsure of which route I'd like to go just yet. I'm mainly looking at multifamily and apartment buildings. The capital for them has be taking a step back but thats mainly because I am at the very beginning of my journey. I have to make connections learn how to negotiate and find or make good deals happen as well as funding etc. I always thought I had to have my own capital. Learned recently thats not the case!

Hi Zachary,

You're in the right place. Take the time to learn and educate yourself. Go to meet-ups, keep in the forums, find a mentor, read the books, etc.

Real generational wealth is built for the long-term.

If you're interested in starting in real estate, then house hacking is a great option in my opinion. You will learn alot of lessons quickly, build wealth, and potentially lower your cost of living. From there, you can use that first property to springboard to your next investments.

Thank you for the information! I'll definitely check out house hacking. I know I've got a long road ahead of me but I have a strong feeling everything will play out well on the end. Coming here seems to be a huge step in the right direction. I'm excited to learn and grow and eventually contribute to the vast knowledge here.

Brand new to real estate. I have alot of goals and even more questions. Generation wealth is the name of the game! Freedom is the ultimate goal.
