Post: Side Hustle In Real Estate

Any recommendations for a side hustle in real estate? I have a full-time job and would like to invest in my first property in the next year. I would love a side job in real estate to learn and earn a little extra money. Any thoughts or suggestions?

When touring an investment property, what is one thing you look out for that if you see it you immediately WALK AWAY?

I'm not a wholesaler, I am just a beginner real estate investor (primarily I would like to do multi-family buy and hold) who has had struggles in the past just finding one solid mentor. Everyone in BP has been very responsive so far so consider it like you have hundreds of mentors.

In my experience, it takes time to find one. One of the main points of a mentor is to guide you and answer any questions you may have. In the meantime, you can receive guidance and answers to questions just by being active on these forums.

What should be my first step in order to pre-approval? My partners and I are first-time investors but the market we are targeting good property tends to move fast. We would like to get pre-approval sometime in the near future in order to purchase our first property.

Hi all,

For those experienced investors, if you could go back and in time to your early days in real estate and could tell yourself only one thing.....what would it be?

I am a recent college graduate with a job lined up in my field. After I can prove a year’s worth of income to lenders I would like to begin investing in rental properties. My income covers my expenses, but I am looking for an additional stream of income I can use to help me save for a down payment. Preferably a weekend job. Any suggestions?
