Investing with leverage entails what exactly?  I don't want to ask my parents for help anymore even though that very well may be an option.  Are you talking about finding an investor?

Dawn,

My idea is to rent it out so I can pay it off as fast as possible so I can begin buying more houses.  Trying to go with a buy and hold strategy at first.  Maybe try flipping houses a little bit later once I have the funds. I've got some saving to do, thanks so much for your help!

I'm 23, my girlfriends a real estate agent, I'm looking to invest in real estate. I've been listening to this podcast nonstop for the past 4 days and I find it to be very intriguing. I think I'd like to start out buying my multi family homes. What's the right amount of cash I need to get started buying my first property? Price range 110k and under!
