Work with a commercial realtor, have them send you contracts they typically use and study those. A good realtor will help you through this process.

I’m trying to become the realtor though??

Welcome to the BiggerPockets forums!

Agents typically get paid when they draw up a contract (leasing fee) or as they manage the property throughout the contract (management fee).

A portion of your income is typically shared with the Broker.

Thank you for the warm welcomes!!

So when writing lease deals do I get a percent of that?? And will it be consistent say its a 5-year commercial lease which I wrote the contract for

My names Yuri, I don’t have my license yet for real estate. But I’m thinking of going into Commercial Real Estate. I was wondering how does it work when writing contracts?? Also when creating the contract and I offer to the tenant they can stay there and propose the monthly rent for them do I get paid off that as well?? Or does the broker profit off that?? Its just things that have been on my mind.

Thank you for your time!!
