Hello all!

I wanted to get some different opinions on how I can go about to fund a rehab.

Context:

My parents were generous enough to sell me their house with a large amount of equity. We recently closed on the property and would like to rehab.

I’ve heard of people using home equity loans and home equity lines of credit to fund their rehabs. My concern is that it may be too soon to try to pull equity from the home. Is this something that anyone has done recently? The other option is to just do the rehab with a personal loan or through funds from my day job.

First time posting so I apologize if I posted in the wrong spot
