Hello Everyone,

I have trying to get into real estate for sometime ago now but like many times money was the issue.  I finally gotten my house back in order from Harvey in 2017 and have no more money to even put back in my house to finish my restroom.

I am 42 yrs old and want to get into real estate to build my retirement. Anyone please give me suggestions.

Thank you guys for responding. My thought process, is to find a multi-family home purchase it with a private lender then after holding it for a year refinance to another loan with a small interest rate and longer term.

I'm interested in a multi-family (of I believe 6 units) home and was looking to use a private lender to get the deal done.. I don't have all the inform about the units yet as I have my agent looking into it.

After I have purchased a loan with either a private loan or hard money loan. How soon can I refinance the home?
