If I invest a multifamily through a Roth IRA, will I still receive the same tax benefits as I would with personal cash when I file my tax return? Will I lose depreciation deductions if I use Roth IRA fund?

@Yi Chu a Roth IRA is already an account that allows tax-free growth so depreciation won't benefit you since depreciation is used to offset taxable income.

If you need the depreciation to offset other income outside of the investment, then it might be best to invest outside of the Roth IRA in order to take advantage of the depreciation.

Thank you, Sean. What if I use self-direct traditional IRA, instead?

If I use my HELOC fund to buy a property, which of the following two options should I go with from tax or business accounting perspective?

1) make the payment directly from my HELOC account

2) transfer the money from HELOC to business checking account, and then make the payment from my business checking account.

When we set up auto pay for business credit card, should we use 1) personal bank account or 2) business checking account to make a payment from accounting or tax perspective? Which one is preferred or it doesn't matter?
