Congrats and it's nice to hear such a motivating story.  It definitely helps out other investors on what they should also do to achieve their goals and dreams.

Post: Refinance a house

Hello BP,

I recently bought a house for the family and have another house up for rent.  The other house is a relative I know and they gave me permission to do what I want with the house since they moved out.  So it's currently under rent. My question is that I tried to refinance the house to get it under my name, but was denied because my debt to ratio would be too great due to the purchase of the new house that's under my name.  Are there other ways to go around this?  I'm still quite new to the RE investing world so any advise would be helpful, thanks!

Thanks!

Hello BP,

I recently took out some plastic tiles from one of the rooms.  There are quite an amount of adhesive off the floor underneath to get rid off and I was wondering what would be the best way to get rid of all the adhesive on the floor?  I can scrape all of it off, but is there a better way to get rid of it?  Any advise would be nice.

Thanks!

Hello BP,

I am currently interested in DIY house projects to further improve my house.  Are there any advises as to what I can do myself to further improve the house?  I would like to learn to do my own things so in the future I wouldn't have to spend so much for easy repairs around the house.

Thanks!

I'm new myself, but I find that starting small would be the lesser risk to take especially if you're a new investor.  Just in case you take a loss, it won't be as monumental as starting off big.

Hello BP,

I am still fairly new to Real Estate Investing.  I've been listening to the podcasts on here as well as reading books about real estate, but the next step I want to do is to have some hands on experience.  I want to learn from more experienced investors and I'll be more than willing to help out with whatever that may be needed, as volunteering or being paid.  I am from Minnesota in the twin cities area.  If you or anyone you know might need a lending hand, please feel free to message me.

Thanks!
