Thanks for sharing. I like that you listed why you did e work yourself and what it cost you and what you learned from it all.  The job you did looks great! Hope to share my first buy/fix/flip you like you soon!

Hi. I have been finding some contract for deed(CD) properties but the terms are no longer than 5-7 years. Is it possibe to find longer terms if I don't already have an established relationship with these CD persons/entities? Also, any other suggestions for creative financing?

Hi Brie,

I had just listened to your podcast today and am happy to see it looks to be up up up for you since leavings your job! It was great to learn from you about the Milwaukee RE market. I have family there so I have always thought I may some day invest there. Again thanks for sharing your knowledge and best wishes!

Thank you both. I will halt my rollover to Fidelity the and find a different place to put it.

Hi everyone. I read some of the posts about self directed IRAs but still feel a bit unsure. I am in the process of getting my 401k accounts rolled over into an IRA with Fidelity. I just got off the phone with them and was advised that the IRA accounts would already be self directed. I'm still a bit confused as to how I can use it to purchase property though. If anyone has a good contact who can explain and assist me to set it up correctly for buying property, that would be great. All advice is welcome though. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I've been listening to lots of the BP podcasts these past several weeks and have finally signed up with the website!  The podcasts have been awesome and I look forward to exploring more of the website.

Regarding investing, I am a new investor and looking for my first rental and/or buy and flip property.  I look forward to building a large portfolio with real estate and look forward to building many great relationships along the way!
