Steve Kontos what has been your experience with investing out of state? How do you know the areas or get a proper inspection on the properties in these areas? Do you invest in states where you know people and can rely on them? I too would like to invest for cash flow rather appreciation which in New York can be difficult.

@Dan Barman

I am new to real estate investing and have a question that derived from your earlier post. Can you explain to me how getting properties under contract work in New York as it differs from state to state?

Good Evening,

I am a new investor and looking to get some info on how wholesaling deals work within New York State. I am looking to get started with wholesaling properties in the Hudson valley area: Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, Beacon and Westchester region. Does anyone know of any Title and escrow companies that allow Double closings and the assignment of contracts? or do you have to use transnational funding to get these deals closed?
