I will definitely keep an eye out for you @Account Closed thanks so much for the tip lol, definitely a learning curve.  I haven't seen any regular meetups for real estate investing in Cheyenne, but I just joined a group that meets in Fort Collins, hopefully I will be able to make it to some of those meetups.  I look forward to getting to know you.  

Thanks @Jerry Rien!  I used to drive out towards Scottsbluff years ago when I was in the military.  Let me know if you ever want to get together and talk about real estate investing if you are in the area.

Just want to say this is such a great group of people, I have been a member for a while but have been mostly reading and listening to podcasts.  I figured it was time to introduce myself and join the discussion.  I am a real estate agent in Cheyenne WY and also interested in real estate investing.  Me and my husband purchased our first duplex last year and so far has been going well.  I look forward to getting to know everyone.  Thanks!

Hi Tyson, I would definitely give the title company a call and see what they suggest.  I know here in Cheyenne WY, when someone wires money it happens pretty fast, usually the same day.

I think you should buy the duplex, great way to learn by doing!
