Hi everyone!

Been reading recently about "farm area", seems that for a beginning investor is a good idea to focus on a specific geographic area i.e. subdivision, zip code, neighborhood, but as a wholesaler does this also apply? Or should the wholesaler go for just any property in distress with enough equity within a broad geographic area i.e. a county?

HI everyone!

So happy to be able to join BP and to be able to learn from the great minds in this wonderful community.

My name is Joseph Wu from DFW, currently living in Richardson, TX, where my sister just bought 2 properties this year in the nearby UTD neighborhoods of Reservation and Greenwood Hills, and is looking for a 3rd one! It kind of pushes me to want to do the same!

I have been involved with my agricultural export and domestic supply business in recent years that only until now I can learn about the real estate business, which has always been an aspiration to me since college.

Truly hope to be able to learn from each and everyone in this community, I have been reading many posts here on daily basis and it has really helped me get a better understanding regarding real estate investing and how to begin.

Fortunately, not long after I began learning, I came across a rental property deal in nearby Garland, TX with tenant in place, it's been only 2 days since I went on to put it under contract, I'm so excited! ....but first things first, now I'm learning from the posts on how to build a buyers list.

Although I'm very new, I'm willing to help in any way I can, and that's also a good way to learn I believe. Please feel free to reach me, look forward to get to know yall.
