@Richard Ball   @James Wise  @Robert Syfert  @Mark Nolan

Thanks for the welcome!

@Bhekizwe M.  Thank you so much. I have been soaking up lots of info. I am still unsure which direction I am going to go with this. I know I need to attend a real estate investor meeting.

@Brett Snodgrass Thanks for the welcome and words of wisdom!  I listened to a podcast that touched on the subject of investing and still working full time. So much good info here!

Thank you for the welcome @Dave Visaya.

Hello all,

My name is William McLeod and I am a new member from metro Detroit.  I have been in manufacturing for almost thirty years and I feel I need to make a move toward financial independence.

My only experience in real estate was purchasing my first house back in 1990 and selling it in 2003.  Initially my main interest was fix and flip, but it seems like buy and hold is also a good option. My goal is to be able to work with real estate full time and make a decent living and save for retirement.  Is it possible to be successful at this while starting out and still working full time?
