Hello all, 

My name is William LoPresti and I am new to real estate investing as well as BiggerPockets. I am a Registered Nurse and I work 3-12 hour shifts/week. Therefore, I have plenty of free time to focus on REI. I am highly motivated to learn and eager to get started investing. I am most interested in buy and hold investing but open to all areas of REI. My goal is to create a portfolio that allows my wife, (also an RN) to stay at home with the kids. This would mean creating a passive monthly income of about $5,000/month. I have been reading about REI ("Ultimate Beginners Guide...", "The Book on Rental Property Investing", "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" etc.) and listening to podcasts on BP. I plan to reach out to my local REIA today and attend my first REIA meeting the first of June (pending my acceptance into the association). I love meeting new people and look forward to building new friendships through REI. Thanks for reading and best wishes to all investors out there.
