@Mitchell Luban I recently moved to Houston, Texas. Would I be able to connect with you. I currently own land back in my hometown in Michigan and I plan on to build one-two duplexes on them then rent them out.

My name is William Hunt, I recently just move from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Houston, Texas. I’m looking to start my career in Real Estate Investing I’ve been interested for awhile now. I read books, listen to Ebooks & Podcast etc. I plan to start off wholesaling until I get enough revenue to start Renting out Multi-families & having Air BnB locations as well. For my first Multi family, I plan to house hack. I’m looking for a mentor to help me get started. I would love to connect with anyone that’s willing to help.

@Austin Largusa

How did you form your team, and what tips/ tricks you did do to get 12 properties with no money down? I’m currently been trying to improve my credit due to poor choices in college. The process is taking a little longer than expected. That’s why I’m curious on what can I do to get started with no money down.

Would it be a smart idea to take out a loan to pay off collections debt, and use the remainder for a down payment for a property?

I'm in the process of trying to get approved for my first FHA loan. Should I let them know that I'm currently trying to house hack? It is any of there business to know? Any advice would be great!

About me:

I’m a 25 Year College Graduate from Ferris State University *May 2020*, former football player, and soon to be dad. I Grew a passion for real estate due to the financial freedom it brings with hard work, being your own boss and early retirement. Unfortunately I Ruined my credit throughout college.

What I’ve learned and my plan:

I have decided that I want to invest in Multifamily Houses. So far I've read "Rich Dad Poor Dad", listen to multiple Real Estate Podcast for numerous of hours including bigger pockets. Currently reading "Rental Property Investing", by Brandon Turner. Right now I'm stuck between Doing a FHA Loan House Hack or BRRR Method to get me started. What approach should I take? Sorta leaning towards the FHA Loan!
