Trash Dumping - advice or suggestions?

We have what has become a serious problem with one of our communities with non-residents using our trash dumpsters. We've already had to increase the number of pickups per week (at our expense) to keep the dumpster area manageable and presentable.

However now, we have started to have what seems to be handyman and construction debris (from the debris it is obviously not from our property) offloaded and dumped at or in front of the trash dumpster area - blocking resident AND trash truck access.

We have considered video cameras, a locking gate, etc.

ALL thoughts and ideas are welcome.

A final question (I think), are UDFI/UBIT taxes paid by the SDIRA with IRA funds -or- outside of the IRA with personal funds?

Thanks @Brian Eastman!  I think your next to last paragraph is important.  

So, just to clarify - here's my understanding ...

If investing in a syndication that utilizes leverage (most will) via an SDIRA - there are UDFI tax liabilities each year for the prorata portion of the leveraged income.  Then at disposal (with debt outstanding) there is UDFI tax liability for depreciation recapture + capital gains (at the then current trust tax rates).

That could be HUGE and an unexpected surprise at the end of the fund.  I suspect a lot of folks aren't aware (I wasn't and don't know what made me think about it).

Am I on the right track?

Would there be any considerations regarding depreciation recapture when a syndicated investment is disposed (ex: at 10 years) when purchased via an SDIRA (Self Directed IRA)?

Will those investment funds need to be 1031'd at disposal?

My thought process is that since the investment is held in an IRA, they haven't had a tax benefit from depreciation during the hold period (with the possible exception of reducing UDFI/UBIT liability on the leveraged portion) - so, it would possibly be a mute point.

I'm considering using an SDIRA to invest in a syndication as an LP and trying to think about all the angles.
