Mobile browsing is where the internet is going. It's the next big thing (it's really already here but it is just going to get bigger).

I'm curious for those of you that track your websites what percentage of your visitors are looking at your site on a smart phone?

I buy discount gift cards online for stores I shop at a lot and restaurants. There are some great sites where people sell unwanted gift cards at a discounts. The amounts aren't as small as you'd expect it's easy to find between $500-1000 giftcards. Good sites guarantee the giftcards so you don't have to worry about someone taking your money and running.

I save between 5-20% on anything I buy at a lot of stores this way. The great things is you can combine it with coupons and sales to save a lot more.

I sort of fell into it. Knew the owner of a local pawn shop and he was tight on cash and needed money to make loans. Now he's not so tight and not borrowing. I haven't found any other pawn shops that are looking for cash in hand, which is sad. I was hoping to turn this into a long term thing.

Still I left my number with a couple of managers and owners and the terms I'd lend on. If they call I'll do business but mot pawn shops I spoke to aren't interested.

I'm curious how many times per month the transactional lenders on the board turn over their money. Since people have varying money pool sizes, how long does it take the average transactional lender to make $1,000,000 in loans?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Subject line says it all. I'm thinking about getting into this market but I don't know what is considered reasonable asking price for these notes.

Right now all my investments, with the exception of three discount mortgages, are outside of real estate. That's why I came to the forum I want to learn more about it.

As I said in the other thread, I've started buying debt from a local pawn shop. So far that's been a huge money maker (only been doing it for three months).

I also broker Auto-notes for car dealerships and invest in them personally.

Pawn Shops! I've recently started buying the cash flow notes at some local pawn shops for 80 cents on the dollar. I have the owner guarantee payment, they pay if the person defaults, and collect then remit payment to me.

He loves it because they get to make more loans, and can turn around and sell the collateral, pay me, and still make money on a default. I love it because I've been making 25% a month for the past three months

I'm thinking about trying to incorporate and find some investors who want 10-15% a month and expanding past one shop.
