Thanks Brandon!

I haven't bought a house yet, I live in a rental myself.

However, that's where i need help, to buy the first home and set it up for a rental. How and where do I actually begin.
- Do I go out on the field and find out properties on sale (this will take up a lot of my time as I am starting off part time, or if there is an easier way to do this ),
- Do I look up RE websites or
- Do I call up Realtors
- How do i start off with my Market Research for due diligence

On a different note, I did look up your website (http://realestateinyourtwenties.com/) and your article on 7 years to 7 figure wealth, crisp information, very well laid out and quite helpful. You made the 7 year road look very simple following a strategy, quite inspiring. Keep em coming!.

Hello All,

I have had an interest in Real Estate for some time, been reading RE books across and just recently I have made the decision to take action and start off.

I have been trying to get educated primarily through books/audio etc. and just this week I attended the Charlotte REIA and the Metrolina REIA to help me network (make connections), and find reliable resources to help me get started and eventually get hold of a mentor. I am new to this field and I am looking out in every direction to help me get started and work with the right folks.

I am from Charlotte, and my goal is to buy and hold rental properties starting off with buying one this year if possible. In order to minimize my risks as I am very new to this, I am trying to search for a mentor who can help me work out the steps, get my hands dirty and create a system that i can replicate.

Any help that you guys provide will be really helpful as I am still trying to figure out how to start, who to meet and what questions to ask.

I look forward to meeting you all

~Sid
