there will ALWAYS be renters, no matter where you go. It's more of who you are wanting to deal with as renters. Marysville would be great, I like the obetz area as well. I found many deals last winter down there and my clients found great renters

Yes! Marysville is a great community, you have Honda supporting most of the town. Plain City is becoming the outskirts of Dublin, hard to find properties. Delaware, you get more for your money. A lot of new build construction happening up there.

I would be interested in hearing from all , novice to expert investors, who are you looking for when building your investing team. What qualities are the most important, and what are your expectations for the individual.

@Johnathan Stegier- congratulations on taking action on your investment dreams! That's awesome

I was raised in Piqua and lived in Sidney for several years. Bought and sold in both areas. I moved to Columbus for more opportunity in my Real Estate Career.

I believe the Miami Co and Shelby Co are great areas to practice the BRRR method in. Duplex's are hard to find in decent areas in those towns. Plus with the BRRR method the capital to begin with can be way less than with a duplex.

Message me if you would like to discuss further.

@chadnagel. My thoughts are.... not great, lol. I have always loved fort Myers and wanted to start there. My research so far has been looking at homeaway.com and looking at rates and schedules. What I gathered was $38 per person per night. And strong scheduling in winter and spring months. Most larger homes were solid booked through that time. So I saw no reason to investigate that further. I appreciate your response. I see you have been doing this awhile and any advice would be appreciated. I'm a realtor in Ohio looking to invest more towards short term vacation rentals. As I wouldn't mind a vaca spot away from a slow moving cold winter

Can one buy a property buy pre-renting for blocks of time ahead of the actual purchase?

Looking to purchase multi family unit in or around Fort Myers florida. Would be used as vacation property. Any realtors in that area that is great with the out of state buyers wanting to purchase rentals?
