Very nice! I'm currently going through the STR application process to Airbnb one of the units in a quadplex I owner occupy. Hopefully all goes well! My units aren't much larger than yours (550 sq ft) and also in west Ashley. Any tips you can provide about the STR process?

Just as an FYI, I currently house hack a quadplex in Charleston (29407), only your unit will be accessed at 4%, the units that you rent out will be accessed at 6%.

Steve Priola with brand name real estate. He is also an investor and very familiar with the area. Helped me buy my first quad. Great guy!

I am a full time engineer with a government agency. Started getting into real estate about a year ago when I ran across a podcast by Paula from afford anything and have been reading and researching ever since. Just put my first property under contract (a quadplex) and excited to begin the "house hack" journey!

Hopefully biggerpockets can give me some creative ways to finance a great opportunity!

I recently looked at a townhome 2/2 135k. I found out from the realtor that the townhome next door will be for sale soon also. Ideally I want to house hack by staying in one and renting out the other. Is it possible to mortgage both properties under one loan?
