I just finished reading about your purchase of a 4 unit property that was really a five unit property, Brandon.  And I'm wondering if anybody on Bigger Pockets has ever contemplated jumping into Multi-Family in a big way.  Something on the order of 100-150 unit property, or more.

Thanks to Michael, Cody and Dev for sharing.  Guess I have to play closer attention from now on.

Has anybody else had the problem with competing companies with the same name, such as Yellow Letters and Yellow Letters Complete?  I thought there was only one Yellow Letters and that all others would have significantly different names due to registration and copyright infringement laws.  Turns out I am wrong.

I started an inquiry with Yellow Letters and about two weeks later somehow ended up contacting Yellow Letters Complete.  The confusion only came to light after I placed a direct mail campaign with Yellow Letters Complete and then got a call from Yellow Letters asking if I was still interested.

Justin,

Looks like we posted about the same time. Good luck! btw, I was born in CA and have been back, at least one time to San Fran. Nice city.

Shoot, most people can't even pronounce it! It's the name of a little known Native American tribe that welcomed Captain John Smith and his cohorts to Virginia several hundred years ago. It's also the name of a river and most importantly to me, it's my home, now.

Mattaponi is surrounded by water that looks different every time I cross it or go near it: water that has the most soothing effect. Sometimes it's choppy, occasionally so still it reflects houses accurately. Sometimes it's blue; sometimes it's pink but it's always magical.

Funny how I'm truckin' in land, i.e. real estate and runnin' on about water, but this area speaks to me. I grew up in a rural community a continent away, but similar. I feel at home even though I've never lived here before.

Oh yeah, the last place I identified with so strongly was Montana. That's another story for another time.

Signed,

"the Montanan from Mattaponi" HOWDY, EVERYBODY!
