Post: Pros VS Cons? - Getting your Real Estate License

26 years old. My full time job offers a lot of flexibility.  I am a rookie right now but my goal is to be a full time R.E. investor in my 30s.  I'm currently considering getting my Real Estate license to:

1) learn more about the industry and local market

2) create more capital to invest

3) network

There is a lot of agents where I live but I think my outgoing personality and "hustle" would allow me to be successful.  Initially, this would be a part-time venture as I could devote +/- 20-30 hours a week to this job.

I am looking for advice:

- Pros VS cons to getting your license?

- Can one be successful if it is a part-time gig?

-How/Does it affect my personal investments or partnering for others with deals?

-Am I thinking to much or do I just go for it?
