Hello All, My name is Wesly and I currently live in the Boston Area. Unfortunately, my mother passed away and I inherited a small amount of money. I left a little in a portfolio (not sure its a great idea yet). However, the majority of it I would like to start real estate investing. The plan is to buy multi unit properties and rent to generate passive income. On my modest income and good credit score the big banks (chase mainly) are not pre approving me enough to afford my first property in the Greater Boston area (currently living in malden). I would like to live in the Greater Boston area however I am not tied to it. North and west of Boston are ok. With that being said, I have a couple of questions for the community. Any meet up I could join to learn more about real estate? What cities around the Boston generate decent rental income and how do you guys find this out? Lastly, Ive been hearing a lot about Fall River because the commuter rail headed there. I am curious what investors have to say about Fall River (buy and hold or buy and flip?)
