I do have contract with the contractor and it clearly says that he is responsible to pull permits. but again i don't think he has much to lose. so i don't know if i should take him to court or just make him fix the problem. and yes there are a lot of faulty work. and they need to be tear down which is very expansive to build and tear down. so I am not sure if i should use him or some other people who is more responsible.

Hello everyone.
I am new in this business and I have a rehab job gone bad. the contractor did not pull permit I have a contract with him says he is responsible for pulling the permit. now we have a stop work order and he is not responding very much now days. I have begin the process of pulling the building permit with the city myself. I need local legal help, as well as some tips on how to handle this issue. Can anyone reference by a good real estate lawyer in Atlanta area?
