Yep QA is a good way too it it. I it's thy we twitch usability engineer since it sounds fancier and relates more to software. I think I have a cousin that is in QA but she works for a RV company. Go figure.

Hi @Wendall Hershberger, welcome to Indy investing! I am up in Fishers, but own and manage properties all around Indy. Happy to help with any questions you may have!

What is a software usability engineer? I had my MCSE back when there was only 12k of us in the world, and niched myself into being a DBA before going real estate investor full time...

A software usability engineer, at least how I do it, makes sure the software is up to client/customer standards. I work a little with UI/UX (User interface/User Experience) also to make sure tasks flow properly and in a common sense way. I also try to "break" the product before it ships.I work closely with the developers to make sure the code they write does not negatively affect our product in anyway.

Anyways that is a brief outline of what I do I could go more in to depth but this isn't the place for that.  Also, I am currently working on my MCSA as well.

Hi, everybody! I am just a few years out from graduating from Purdue University and starting my career as a Software Usability engineer!!! It is more fun than it sounds.

I recently found BP and have jumped in headfirst. I think over the last week or so I have listened to 10-15 podcasts and started reading a couple suggested books. I read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" I think in 6 hours. I simple don't read books that quick normally.

I had exposure to Real Estate since I was little. My dad built custom homes, was a landlord and flipped a couple houses. He is now a mortgage lender. My mom was a real estate broker for many years as well.

I am interested in Real Estate to eventually provide some more financial freedom. My goal would be to, in 2-5 years, have a few buy and hold properties under my belt.

Currently I am just looking for any advice and any connections in the Carmel/Indianapolis/Westfield and surrounding areas, and I hope that I can somehow provide you with some benefit as well.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you, and I can't wait to get started!
