I will have to agree with Josh here. From my experience and I have put about 97 offers so far this year on REO's. I learned not to be greedy and think about those 2.5% or 3% or even the 5% I could make or fellow agent could make because the chances are that I could get that deal is much more bigger that way.

Trust me I noticed the difference by putting that listing agent's name and it was huge. My offers got bumped to the top and I got the attention and quick response. Those listing agents are motivated by money and who wouldn't?

Peter, Thanks for the welcome. This seems like a great place to hang around for all RE questions and insights. I will hang in here for sure!!

Good Luck to you too.

Jawsette, Despite the ups and downs RE is still one of the most rewarding career. My passion to RE + My dedicated and hard work makes things happen. Almost like a cliche to all businesses, but when you set your mind to something, you have to get somewhere.

Good Luck to you too.

Ted, I totally agree with you. Combined REO and Short sales are two of the hottest RE going on in this market now. And Yes I got on the right track. Good Luck to you too.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Mona Shaboon and I am a full time Real Estate Investor pIus I am (have to disclose this fact) a TX Real Estate Broker. I have been a REALTOR for the last 5 years in San Antone. Working in Residential and Commercial.

I started RE investing in Nov 08 and had closed a couple of short sales. I am working on some wholesaling deals now. My plan is to do some wholesaling and REO's and then to do some rehabing in the next few month.

Looking forward to network with you all. This looks like a Great Place to meet new investors and Real Estate Professionals and to exchange some ideas and tools and perhaps to partner with at some times.

Good Luck to you all.

Mona
