Post: Time to Close the BP Bulk REO Forum?

Unfortunately, most of the noise regarding bulk deals does turn out to be just that, noise.

Before robo-signing locked the banks down, the company I work for actually had purchased small bulk packages from banks and had success turning those properties. It took me 9 months building inroads with banks to get to where I can see lists and I still face institutional roadblocks getting the info I need.

I hate that spammers ruined this forum, because if there were other legit posters, this is where I would get the most benefit from the site.

Boooooo to the Bulk Deals Millions Today!!!! bad apples that stunk this up for everyone else.

Does anyone have experience with the newer, more modern modular homes? I've got 15 acres of land I'm considering building on and have looked at these as an option and would like to hear some feedback.

Thanks!

Has anyone else heard rumors regarding upcoming FDIC programs dealing with REO's?

The information I have is that the 3 proposed programs might be similar to the structured transaction programs they are doing with NPN's and I'm trying to sniff our some more details.

Thanks!

Does anyone know of a resource that provides the average construction cost for a new SFR in a given market?
I'm working on some marketing material and I've been asked to pull together ballpark construction cost data for LA, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
Please help!

Can anyone suggest a resource for overall averages of performance data on of REO resales by city?

I'm working on polishing some marketing material for one of our fundraisers and he's requested 3rd party data that would represent that the resale margins we saw on our last package were representative of average market performance (or not as the case may be).

I've tried a couple of data companies and the NAR, but I keep being told that foreclosure purchase values and existing home resale values are 2 different data sets (at which point they offer to partner with another company to charge me an arm and a leg for a custom report).

Hey everyone,

I'm new to Bigger Pockets and just wanted to introduce myself [COMPANY INTRO REMOVED]
While my bosses have quite a bit of investment and real estate experience, my background is in residential construction (14 years) so I'm new to this side of the industry.
Any tips and pointers are greatly appreciated!
