Currently I'm 22 living at home with my father and siblings. My overarching goal is to gain financial freedom through rental properties but that's many years in the making. I currently work for a Mosquito Repellent company making decent hourly ($17/hr) but working in the sun with pesticides for 9+ hours isn't all that fun, I know, shocking! Anyways, I'm highly motivated to find an RE job, something that could potentially help me when I start to buy my own rental properties. The two professions that came to mind were home inspector and appraiser. Both of which I would take as many classes as needed and attempt to get an apprenticeship or internship position. I don't have much construction background which I'm worried about, I'm also worried how people wouldn't want to hire a 22 year old to come do their inspection/appraisel, any thoughts here. I'm fine with little to no pay for the first year or so because I live with my father. How realistic are these goals? What other RE professions sounds like a good fit for someone like me?

I'm currently a Junior in college pursing a useless degree in Acting. My parents refuse to let me drop out because they want me to get a degree which is fine. I just wish I could get it in something else and scholarships are preventing me from switching majors. Anyways, my question to you guys is how can I start getting involved in investing now without any money and especially when I graduate and start making some money? I know there are many avenues I could venture in. I've thought about rental properties, owning trailer parks, and a few others. What other options do I have at such a young age? Thanks!
