Thanks for make me feel welcome! I'm feeling invigorated by the positive posts on OKC's cash flow opportunities as well as all the knowledge within the BP community!

Hi,

My name is Walter Miltenberger and the only real estate knowledge I have is from whatever articles I've read on it and from renting for the past 4.5 years. I'm from Covington, LA, have lived in Houston, TX and currently reside in OKC, OK. I've lived here for just under 2 months and am currently renting and will probably continue to rent for my year lease.  I've got a great job that is pretty reliable, but will, unfortunately, most likely move me for the third time in a little over two years in June of next year. That move will more than likely consist of at least a two year stint wherever I get placed (high probability places consist of Houston, OKC, or somewhere in LA). My goal is to live wherever I get placed rent free through house hacking. I've also thought about trying to upgrade my current apartment to a 2 bedroom and renting out the other bedroom through Airbnb. Eventually, I'd like to own several rentals. I'm not convinced I want to change careers, but it is definitely something I'm interested in doing. I found out about this blog a while back apparently and created an account, but I rediscovered it today when I read the article on house hacking. Thought I'd sign up and see what I could learn and maybe one day contribute. Thanks for reading!
