the issue, the size of the foundation, the type of repair needed, and
the location. In California, foundation repair for a hillside property
can be especially challenging and therefore, costs can be higher. Some
estimates for foundation repair can range from $10,000 to $100,000 or
more. It's important to get a professional inspection and estimate from a
licensed contractor to accurately assess the cost of repairs and the
best course of action. Keep in mind that even if the cost of repairs is
substantial, it may still be worth it if the property is otherwise a
good investment.

That's not a trustworthy response. Before paying or hiring someone for work, it's important to verify their credentials. You can check with local licensing agencies or the Better Business Bureau to see if they are a licensed contractor. If they are not willing to show proof of their license, it's best to find someone else to do the job.

I have a keen interest in multifamily housing value add opportunities.

This type of real estate investment involves acquiring existing

apartment buildings, making improvements to increase the value of the

property, and ultimately raising the rent to generate higher returns for

the investor. Value-add strategies, renovating units,

updating common areas, and improving the overall management of the

property is what I want to be doing. This approach to real estate investing can be highly

lucrative, but I also seek to help out the communities by adding value to the areas buy using these strategies

Nevertheless, I believe that the rewards of a successful

value-add project make it a highly attractive investment opportunity. I

am eager to continue learning more about this field and finding ways to

get involved.

I discovered BP in 2018, seeking an educational alternative to my commute radio. I signed up online but my account was inactive until recently. The pandemic motivated me to upgrade my construction industry skills for self-employment, so I studied for my general contractor license. I recently obtained it and bought a home for my family, laying the foundation for my real estate journey. I'm eager to join the BP network and community, make new connections, and hopefully form friendships.

Hello everyone, 

I am in the education phase of my RE investing journey. I work as a carpenter superintendent for a company in Oakland. I stumbled upon BP last year when I was searching for options on how to break into real estate. I mainly listen to the podcast on my commute to and from work and wake up early to get some reading in. I just read the book on rental property investing and cant wait to find my first deal and get off and running.  I am really excited to connect and build relationships with other RE investors in my area.
