The storm cellar is directly beneath the house. The walls have bowed and cracked leading to flooding during rain. Whats the best/cheapest way to solve this? How should I fill it in? Thanks yall

Post: Whats the best way to finish interior concrete walls?

I recently purchased a sfh with all walls made of concrete. The concrete has many cracks due to foundation issues (and more to come as we repair the foundation). Currently, I believe there is stucco and paint. What is the best way to finish these walls? Is it more cost effective to repair cracks and apply stucco/paint or to place sheet rock over it?

Cliff notes:

-home built in 1940s

-extensive damage to concrete interior walls

-option A: repair cracks and finish with stucco and paint

-option B: sheet rock

Thanks yall!
