Hello All,

I have a few foreign investors that want to loan me capital for purchasing Real Estate. They don't know necessarily want a stake in the asset but would want a percentage in returns. How would you go about structuring something like this? Are there other ways to structure the deals?

Regards,

Albert Gonzalez

Thank you for the welcome!  I am definitely reading as much as I can as the logical guy in me wants to soak it all in, but, the satisfaction will come once I put it to use. :)

We should definitely stay in touch, and I can keep you updated on the plans.

@Christopher Cousin It is inspiring to see people pursue their passion! We definitely need to stay in touch as I am a big supporter of collaboration.

@Christopher Cousin thank you for the welcome! I am currently in Kazakhstan but should be back around the middle of February. How often do the meet ups happen? I would definitely be interested in increasing my investing education and networking with like minded individuals. Thank you again for the welcome!

Hi Brandie and welcome to BP. I appreciate that info, I will definitely look into the REI. I completely agree about the valuable information. I am reading the UBG and also going through the podcasts and they have been a tremendous help.

Hi John and thank you for the welcome. 23 years as a firefighter is no small accomplishment so congratulations on that! Are you part of any groups in the Houston area?  I work on a 28/28 type schedule which should allow me quite a bit of time to research and network with people when I am off.  Thank you again for the welcome.

Hello all! My name is Albert Gonzalez and I live around the Houston area. I have actually been a member here since 2013 but life happened and shifted focus and real estate took a back seat. A little about myself, first and foremost, I am a husband, father, and grandfather at the ripe age of 41 :) I grew up in a rough area of Los Angeles California and learned quickly that I did not want to end up there. I enlisted in the US Army and gained the discipline I needed along with seeing that there was a bigger world out there apart from the neighborhood. I married the love of my life at 19 and we have not looked back since. I currently work in Kazakhstan on a rotational basis for as an Advisor for an oil and gas company with a  specialization in IT/Telecoms. My IT career has taken me all over the world to include places like Afghanistan supporting our warfighters.  I am currently working on my real estate education mainly here on BP so I have been listening to the Podcasts and picked up some of the recommended reading from those podcasts. My immediate goal (next 12 months) would be to invest in a few buy and hold properties and also venturing into a potential flip. I am here to learn, network, and hopefully once I am a seasoned enough reciprocate and hopefully help out some people starting out also. Well that is me in a nutshell hopefully I didnt cause any of you to fall asleep. I look forward to meeting some great people and hopefully becoming a valued member here.

Regards,

Albert Gonzalez
