Hi @Tyler Mullen,

Glad to see you are local.

I have not investments yet, but looking to acquire my first one very soon. Do you know of any meetup or REIAs coming soon where we can meet? I'm going to one next Tuesday in Bellevue.

Hope to see you very soon.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to real estate investment but am eager to invest and learn from others! I live in Seattle area but am interested in investing anywhere that's ~3-4 hrs away (Vancouver, WA; Yakima, Bremerton, and???). Background on me: when to Virginia Tech to finish a master's, but consider Seattle home. I currently work as Data Analyst for a Healthcare company.

Look forward to meeting others, hearing about opportunities, and getting more involved!

@Arlan Potter, thank you so much for your response. I leave in Seattle area and the kind of deals I can afford don't match the prices here. But you are totally right I should move 4-5hours and see what is out there or do a long-distance investment.

Hello everyone,

I know this question may be very basic, but I'm just starting out into the real estate investment. I'm very interested in acquiring my first rental property and apply the brrrr method. My understanding is that I'll need to work with a wholesaler to find the property, but I don't know how to find a nice and friendly one. Also, what information I need to provide to him/she before starting? Help please.

I really appreciate any guidance.Thank you so much.
