Hello BP,

I am a newbie to Richmond area and looking to buy a rental property. Any idea which area is good around here in terms of cash flow ?

Regards,

Vishnu

Awesome, i’ll narrow down my search and will reach out. Looking forward to colloborate

@Lauren Cutchen Thanks for your response and appreciate your suggestion. I will reach out to you accordingly

@Karl McGarvey My initial thoughts are to do LTR so there will be steady cash flow. I haven't thought about STR yet. I visit my family there now and then and realized Houston has good market for rental properties. So decided to buy one. I am not looking to stay at the property in any near future.

Thanks for the response Karl. As of now I am looking to buy and hold long assuming it would generate good cash flow. I have seen BP community quote 10% as the good cash flow return, but anything closer to that should be fine

Hey BP family,

It feels so good looking at the amount of posts and the responses filled with valuable information :)

I am looking to buy my first rental property in Houston. I am not a resident of Houston but I visit there often. Any suggestions in terms of places which are good for rental property purchase in and around Houston?

Thanks,

Vishnu
