I think this is a really interesting question. Whether it is a condotel or condo in the resort zone that is approved for STVR permit, I think this is a good long term strategy to hold one of these properties.

Most of the islands are not adding to the STVR pool. If regulations get enforced to remove illegal Airbnbs (they usually do in the long run), these legal STVR condos will be a great asset to own in high tourist demand area.
