You are right on point 9-5 will not take me anywhere. I thought of building portfolio however here in Seattle, market is so hot none of the SFH/MF will pass the 1% rule. I am open for suggestions and learning from my peers experience here on BP. I sent you a message for a quick connect.

@David Thompson thank you for sharing excellent blogs.

I think I could have done better in explaining my short term/long term goals.
I want to build capital to reach the end goal(Long term) of buy n hold MF apartments, with a income stream to get rid of my job. Yes, you are right I don't want to do two jobs however I am not planning to leave the current job until I am ready to switch to full timer in Real Estate.

As per the definition in blog I am not eligible to be an accredited investor at this point, possibly reach there in next couple of years.

@Trexie E.Thank you for warm welcome.

@Lane Kawaoka I work hard and make good money but not savings though. I love my home and paying huge mortgage on it :). However I do have approx. 250K investments, which I am intended to use and multiply and achieve my American dream. I have a good paying job but I think am paying good price for it 50-60 hrs/week so I would like to get back time to spend with my family. I am open for opportunities, let me know if can work together to achieve something in common.

Hello BP Community,

I am Virender Mann, a professional software engineer in Seattle, WA. I am new to the forums and have been listening to the podcasts for a while. I am a starting a real estate investment business and open for JV. Currently focused on fix-and-flip properties in the Greater Seattle area. I am a investor in the stock market and planning to divert that 100% to real estate. My goal is to build capital to purchase buy-and-hold properties, multi-family homes, and apartment buildings and eventually get rid of my 9-5 job :)

I am thrilled about the wealth of information and help that the BP Community provides. I listen to BP podcast during my daily commute to/fro my office = learning. I am really excited to be here and to be starting my journey as a real estate investor.
