Post: Building a Central Jersey Flipping Business: Any Insight?

Hey Everyone, My name is Vinny-I am 25 years old- I currently live in Hoboken New Jersey, but I grew up in Monmouth County.  I work in the corporate world right now, and I would give anything to get out of the infamous Rate Race.  I have invested in my first property a few years back, my current apartment I own/live in Hoboken NJ.

I have a good chunk of change saved up-around 100,000$ or so.  I have a motivation to start a house flipping business and create a full time business out of it-in the Monmouth/Ocean County area.  My childhood best friend is a General Contractor, and we have agreed to start this business together.  I have been attempting to create relationships with people I know around the Monmouth/Ocean County area, and we have one mentor as of now that said he will help us out on the first attempt of a flip.  BiggerPockets is a great tool to view and hear success/failure stories to gain a little bit more of a grasp on the market.

I was writing in this forum looking for some advice for someone just starting out-I will take any advice and always open to communication-phone, email, text, etc...

My fiance and I are getting married in December, and I realize that the most important thing to me is being with my family and being able to provide as much as I can to them with being in their life at the same time.

I'm not looking for a step by step process, but any advice for a young driven real estate newbie would be much appreciated.

Lets Connect !

Best,
