@Jay Thomas and @Wesley Sherow,

Thank you so much for the support and the great advice! I was able to speak with all of the tenants and introduce myself as the new owner and landlord of the property. It all went very well and I am currently working on getting lease agreements in place for the start of September. 

I could definitely make some friends in the contracting world so that will be a good place to start investing my time. 

I do enjoy many of the Real Estate podcasts and books that BP has to offer and I haven't read "The Book on Managing Rental Properties" yet so that will also be a great resource to learn from.

Hi everyone! I am happy to announce that I have started house hacking with my first real estate investment property! I am completely new to the process of rehabbing a home and setting up leases for the tenants (inherited 2 tenants) and handling tenant issues.

Any advice to help with the transition to becoming a landlord?
