I'm working on acquiring a STR in IN. I'm going to use a vacation home mortgage to fund it. Is there a minimum amount of time from close until I can start using it as an Airbnb?

Good morning all, I’m looking to use second home/vacation home mortgages to invest in short term rentals. I know you’re allowed 1 per “market” but what is a market? Is it 1 per state? 1 per region?

Good morning everyone. I'm looking at channel managers for my first STR I'm purchasing. I'm looking at iGMS. I'm willing to pay a bit more so that I have the tool that gets the job done with coordinating cleaning crew, and messaging renters. Does anyone feel strongly about any particular software? Or strongly against?

The short term rental that I’m looking at is a rural vacation destination. I grew up there as a kid and knew that it would be difficult to find reliable contractors for maintenance and cleaning. It’s proving near impossible to get folks to call me back. Vacasa has a large footprint in that area and I’m considering having them manage the property to take the headaches off of me, since I have other full time employment. Does anyone have any insight into 1. Their pricing, 2. The quality of services they render? I’ve used them as a renter before and from that perspective have been happy.

Good evening everyone. I've bought a couple long term rentals, and now I'm looking to buy a short term rental. I'm interested in using a vacation home mortgage for the lower down payment. Am I able to use a vacation home mortgage if I'm purchasing the rental u see my LLC? Thank you in advance for the feedback.
