It's a great question, and really depends on the look you are going for, and the level of maintenance you want.  Light color paint will show all finger prints and need to be retouched every so often.  A stained look will last longer than painting, and "hides more fingerprints".  Prep of the surface is key, if you go from staining to painting.

Prepping and sanding of the coves and grooves on cabinets is key to good adhesion of the paint &, but note it is very time consuming.

As an investor, will you keep investing this year? Sure, there will continue to be great off-market high-distress deals.  Looking now for a mobile home park.

How do you think the prices will evolve this year?  They may drop, no one knows for sure, but housing prices are a direct correlation to employment numbers. Unemployment numbers are the best they have ever been.

The real estate market has been poised to keep growing, employment numbers were greater than +100k higher than expected in Feb. and more middle class tax cuts were proposed in early January for mid-April announcement, just as the USA had won the China trade war.

How ironic of the timing of how this China Wuhan COVID-19 came on on the scene in December and China downplayed the news of it in January, then did an internet blackout on all reporting.

The origin of the virus has been proven to come from UNC Chapel Hill BSL lab, documented by PhD Ralph Baric in 2015 in science journal, funded by our Federal Government the NIH (National Institute of Health) and sold to the Communist Chinese in Wuhan China BSL4 lab, where it was weaponized with SARs, HIV, and MERS into a Coronavirus, which was set up and operated by a Harvard lab professor, then released in Wuhan.

This is a synthetic crisis designed to bring down the USA & markets before the re-election of Trump.

Nothing will contain the spread of the virus. It is 32x more deadly than the flu. As I write this, the death rate of reported Coronavirus cases is 3.6% (118,926 reported cases & 4,292 deaths globally).  The Ro factor (contagion factor) is 2.58, meaning that if nothing is done to curtail the spread and have isolation, 5.1M could die by July 4.

That's reported case numbers above, as those that are left home to die that can not receive medical attention are not counted.

I expect globally probates will rise & vacant properties too.  More importantly strengthen your immune systems, be safe, & prepare.
