 Hi Rayelle, I'm sorry I didn't see this post beforehand, and I just left the expo. The host, Dennis, was great and genuinely wanted to help local REIs, but it was mostly vendors, I honestly was a little disappointed with the Expo itself. Most of the speakers and vendors were not local and I think that was a disadvantage. Hopefully next year will be better.

I do recommend attending a meeting at the RICH club in Houston, held the first Saturday of every month, free to attend. They do push memberships, but it's the best REI group I have found thus far. They genuinely want to teach and help you grow as an investor and memberships won't cost you an arm and a leg. They hold meetings and classes and networking events almost every other day. Hope this helps!

Hi Jose, thank you, you as well! That sounds great. Our business does everything from providing a general contractor to the very last staging, I'm sure I could be of help.

Paul, thank you for the advice! I attended one very informative meeting this past week and am grateful to say I'll be going to the TX REI Expo here next week. It definitely has propelled my mindset forward! Thank you for reaching out and offering your suggestions, I will definitely be looking into those books as well.

Newbie from Houston. Have co-founded a start up that was born as a deep clean, rehab, and staging service, that has blossomed into an investment company as well. Definitely a toddler in the flipping business! Looking to learn anything and everything relevant in the industry and hopefully make some great contacts in the process!
