Hello, citizens of BP.. So I've been looking for my Diamond in the rough here in SoCal and most of the numbers I've ran dont match up to my criteria. So I've decided it will be best to buy a piece of property and build my own home with a team. Sooo my issue is finding funding!! I got some cash on hand and called all my local banks and they do not loan on land nor construction. ANY ADVICE TO FIND FUNDING FOR LAND AND CONSTRUCTION??! I'm looking to borrow in the neighborhood of 400k.. Thank you Citizens!

Hello citizens of BP..  Has anyone dealt with Credit Repair companies or anyone that specializes in Credit Repair? I'm trying to improve my credit ASAP to qualify for a loan. I have about 3 credit lines in good standing but still need a higher score. Any thoughts or words of advice..? Thank you citizens!

Like the title says.. I've looking forward to buying my first home SOON! It is going to be my primary for myself and my family.. My criteria is the house has to be under market value, must have equity after renovation and I WILL NOT PAY RETAIL. I have 20k and 450 is my budget. I'm looking in Orange County or Chino Area. I know I'm asking for much, but I can gut a house and renovate no problem myself since I'm a contractor. Any Ideas or Lead about financing or finding my diamond in the rough?!

I suggest don't play any part. It doesn't matter how old you are or look. Read and study and learn by taking action and learning life lessons.  Know your trade which is Real Estate and know the ins and out as much as you can. Your knowledge and on the field experience will shine through, people are in it to make money. Not stare at your baby face lol.

Not putting a hefty size down payment on pretty much anything retail in SoCal right now is more than likely going to bring negative cash flow or barely break even, if you're lucky, I suggest you look at out of state markets where your money will go a little longer.

Like the title says.. Im a little lost on where to start out in investing in real estate. I've been looking and studying about getting into wholesaling but everywhere I hear that the market is too high and not enough spread. I've been looking into auctions but not sure how to raise capital. I can fix up a house no problem since I am a licensed contractor. Any thoughts or ideas is appreciated! Thanks guys!
