I'm an investor looking to Buy and Hold Properties in Cleveland Ohio. I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for project managers with contractors in Cleveland. Thank you

Appreciate your comment . Would love to connect .

Hello everyone, I am a resident of Canada and interested in investing in Indianapolis, USA. My primary strategy is flipping, which is also my core strategy in Canada. I am looking to connect with like-minded individuals from the same market or region who can share their experiences and knowledge about investing in Indianapolis. Additionally, if you have any references for a good contractor and a real estate agent in the same market knowing flipping,  please do share. Thank you!

Hi Everyone, Hope you all are safe and healthy. Just wanted to know more about BRRRR strategy. Anybody here who have done a successful one? Need some guidance on it. It is great to know that through a successful BRRRR you can pay back your loan & even pay yourself too and will have the property in your portfolio. But was wondering how do you manage the refinanced loan which you took from bank? You still have that to pay off right, any suggestions and information on it will be appreciated.

Hi BP Family,

Hope you all doing good,

I am planning to start my career in Mortgage and Financial industry. Hence I started researching on it and I found out that firstly you need to become a mortgage agent and once you have 2 years’ experience in it then only you can take the license for Mortgage broker. Please share your feedback and suggestions. And please suggest the process to become a Mortgage Broker in Canada and its future prospects.

@Devin Solberg Thank you so much for sharing your advise. I am really fascinated by "House Hack" method. I am surely going to do more research on this and will try to apply the same. This surely seems to be one of the effective method of starting off for someone like me with a low budget investment. I really appreciate you sharing this thoughtful advise.

@Chris Baxter Thanks Chris for your reply. Appreciate it. Since you asked about the goal, I thought I will brief my current thoughts here. Me and wife are a newcomer living in Toronto from last 1 year. We have a saving of around 30K till now and are employed on min pay scale bracket. We explored the option of buying a house in GTA area in next 2 years but the prices are soaring high here. Henceforth, we are thinking to move to some other province wherein we can buy a house on a cheaper cost. We are planning to go ahead with a saving of at least 15%-20% down payment amount so that we can have less stress of mortgage. My long term plan is to invest in rental properties by buying more units. This is the sole reason I joined biggerpockets so that I can connect with experts like you in here and decide my steps accordingly.

how should i start investing in Real Estate with 30k in canada?

Hi Everyone, I am planning to buy 1st property in Canada next year. Please suggest me what are the steps I need to take before buying the property . Being an immigrant to Canada, I am not sure of the process to buy a home hence looking forward for any suggestions on the following -

  • Benefits of First Time Home Buyers in Canada
  • How to deal with mortgage?
  • As newcomers, which province will be best to buy home and settle down (We are ready to move anywhere in Canada)
  • Any checklist we have to keep

Hi Moises, Thank you so much for your reply. You really helped me in sorting my question.  I was infact looking to ask if it is a good option to cash out an existing property with equity to purchase an investment property.
